Ask Congress to Support Legislation to define “Incident to Service”

Within the Federal Tort Claims Acts (FTCA), the phrase “incident to service” urgently needs to be defined with clarity within section 28 U.S.C. § 2671.

It is this phrase which has been grossly misconstrued to deny government liability for harm to servicemembers which occurs outside of combat.

Countless harms are being suffered every year by servicemembers or their surviving families, with no accountability by the military establishment.

Under the current interpretation of the law is flawed, which is why our country must must take action.

Please join our efforts to ask Congress to define incident to service.
