“The Academy mourns the loss of Cadet 1st Class Cole Kilty, 22, of Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The Park County, Colorado, coroner notified Academy officials of Kilty’s death late Monday. The cause of death is under investigation. Kilty, a member of the Class of 2023 was to commission as a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force and enter undergraduate pilot training this year. He was majoring in behavioral sciences and leadership.” – News Release
