Illness: “Treated like a dog” demeaning and abusive treatment (3 days of basic, began July 24th), lost 40 lbs. Dragged across the field with pants down around his knees and left in the sun, unconscious
Instructors were given written reprimands for the incident, but no court martials were ever held
