Jesse A. Bewley, of this county died at Camp Freemont, San Francisco, Cal., on August 8. The remains arrived in Morristown Thursday, accompanied by a sergeant of the company to which Mr. Bewley belonged, and were taken to the home of the deceased near Springvale where the funeral and burial will occur at ten o’clock Friday, Rev. J. M. Anderson officiating. Mr. Bewley was a worthy young man, well-known and well-connected and his sad death brings much sorrow to his relatives and friends.”
